San Diego NIAAA T32 Postdoctoral Position

Overview The SDSU/UCSD NIAAA T32 alcohol research training grant is accepting applications for Postdoctoral Fellows in San Diego, CA. These fellowships train entry-level postdoctoral scientists to conduct research contributing to understanding the treatment, biological underpinnings, and consequences of alcohol use disorders, including prenatal alcohol exposure. Responsibilities Conduct research with a mentor, including comprehensive literature reviews and participation in data collection and analysis. Engage in manuscript and grant writing. Participate in alcohol research training program seminars and present at the annual RSA meeting. Appointment Details Postdoctoral appointees are supported for twelve-month, full-time appointments with the possibility of up to two years of support based on acceptable progress during the initial year. Qualifications Qualified candidates must be a Citizen or a noncitizen national of the United States (or permanent resident). Have completed their doctoral degree requirements in the clinical and behavioral sciences prior to the date of appointment. Mentors Faculty mentors include Drs.
