Private Duty Nurse (LPN/RN) Location: York, PA Company: Maxim Healthcare Services Pay Rate: $32.00 - $38.00 per Hour Make a Difference Through One-on-One Patient Care Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide private duty nursing care for patients in the comfort of their homes during weekend shifts. This position offers the opportunity to deliver personalized care while building meaningful relationships with patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with the physician's plan of care
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Educate patients and family members on health management and care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and the healthcare team
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Ensure a safe, comfortable, and supportive care environment

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Pennsylvania LPN or RN license
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in a homecare environment
• Previous homecare, private duty nursing, pediatric, or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required
