Key Qualifications:

• Active MN Registered Nurse license required
• Previous experience in pediatric, school, or certified school nurse (CSN) roles strongly preferred
• Knowledge of student health protocols and chronic care management
• Competence in administering medications, managing emergencies, and liaising with parents/guardians
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to thrive in a district-wide setting
• Comfortable working onsite with a flexible caseload

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care and health assessments to students and staff district-wide
• Address acute and chronic medical issues, administer first aid, and develop care plans as needed
• Maintain accurate student health records and ensure adherence to district and state health policies
• Serve as a reliable medical resource for staff, students, and families
• Provide health education and promote wellness initiatives throughout the school community
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
