Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in New Albany, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.37 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or potential hazards. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials where required, and help to support authorized access control practices in accordance with site protocols. Communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and first responders when needed, while completing routine logs, incident reports, and other assigned documentation. Minimum Requirements Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
