Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality care in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of experience in various inpatient settings, including adult critical care and emergency departments. This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including potential weekend shifts, and must be adaptable to the needs of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to adult and general pediatric patients.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Document all care provided and coordinate with other healthcare staff as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) will not be accepted.
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and AHA PALS certifications are required.
• At least one year of recent clinical experience in a teaching hospital setting.
• Proficient in Epic EMR within the last 2 years.

Schedule or Shift

This is a 12-hour night shift position, with a requirement for flexibility in scheduling to accommodate weekends as needed.
