Why This Role Matters The Janitor independently cleans restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, kitchenettes/pantries, showers, stairwells, corridors, elevators/escalators, and other work areas. Duties involve sweeping, mopping floors, removing trash and recycling materials, dusting furniture and fixtures, polishing metalwork, and replenishing restroom supplies to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. What You Will Do Clean and maintain restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, kitchenettes/pantries, showers, stairwells, corridors, elevators/escalators, and other work areas. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture. Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment; polish metalwork and fittings. Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, and sills. Empty wastebaskets, transport trash to disposal areas, and recycle materials appropriately. Replenish restroom supplies as needed. Follow all safety standards and properly use cleaning equipment. Maintain quality work and appropriate conduct in accordance with Didlake policies.
