In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients recovering from strokes, cardiac events, and other neurological conditions. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment that values teamwork and professional growth./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliPerform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans./liliMonitor critical vital signs and respond promptly to life-threatening situations./liliAdvocate for patients as part of an interdisciplinary care team./liliEducate patients and families on medications, procedures, and ongoing care./liliEnsure safe and efficient use of resources, equipment, and time./li/ulh3Unit Details/h3ulliStroke/Neuro Med/Surg patient population/liliEquipment includes Baxter pumps, GE telemetry, vital machines, and bladder scanner/liliEMR: Meditech/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliActive Florida RN license or approved multistate license (compact)./liliNursing diploma or associate degree (BSN preferred)./liliNIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of hire./liliBLS within 30 days of hire; ACLS within 6 months of hire./lili1 year of recent acute care RN experience preferred.
