Quick Facts
- Location: Uvalde, TX (servicing Uvalde & Del Rio areas)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing/Temporary with opportunity for extension
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Hours/week: Full-time (40 hours)
- Employment Type: Permanent or Contract (based on candidate preference)
- Licenses/Certifications: Active Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner license; BLS/ACLS certifications
- Experience: 1+ years in respiratory therapy, preferably with ventilator management
- Pay Range: $33.00 to $40.00 per hour, based on experience
- Additional Compensation:
- $2,000 sign-on bonus after 60 days
- Bonuses at 180 and 365 days
- Mileage reimbursement for travel between patient sites

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' respiratory status in-home
- Manage and troubleshoot ventilators and advanced respiratory equipment
- Educate patients and families on equipment use, safety, and maintenance
- Document clinical findings accurately using electronic health records
- Provide ongoing support via phone to troubleshoot issues and triage concerns
- Collaborate with care teams to coordinate patient care and improve outcomes
- Ensure infection control and equipment safety protocols are followed
- Required:
- Active Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- BLS & ACLS certifications
- At least 1 year of clinical respiratory therapy experience
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within service areas
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and manage independent field visits
- Preferred:
- Experience with home respiratory care or in-home patient management
- Proficiency in EMR documentation and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong communication skills and adaptability to autonomous work environments
