Maintenance Mechanic - Direct Employment - Up to $45/hr

Are you an experienced Maintenance Mechanic who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving problems, and minimizing downtime? Join a high-volume manufacturing facility that produces soaps, detergents, and health & beauty products used by consumers every day.

We're looking for a hands-on maintenance professional who can perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and help keep production lines operating safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment and production lines
• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) to maximize equipment uptime
• Conduct equipment changeovers and line startups
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and conveyor system issues
• Test equipment following repairs to ensure production readiness
• Complete work orders and maintain records in the CMMS system
• Order, track, and manage replacement parts inventory
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability and throughput
• Analyze downtime events and help identify root causes
• Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), safety, and cGMP procedures
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas

Qualifications

Required

• Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Experience working on production equipment and conveyor systems
• Electrical troubleshooting experience
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
• Experience performing preventive maintenance programs
• Experience using CMMS software for maintenance tracking
• Strong focus on workplace safety

Preferred

• Experience in food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, consumer products, or cGMP-regulated manufacturing
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and solve problems quickly
