What You'll Do

• Provide pre, intra, and post-operative patient care in a busy operating room setting
• Assist with patient assessment, preparing and maintaining a sterile environment
• Monitor patient physical and emotional well-being during procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams across various specialties, mainly vascular and orthopedic surgeries
• Support patient education and care coordination before and after procedures
• Circulate during surgeries, with scrub skills as an added benefit
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and hospital protocols

What You Need

• Valid New York State RN license and Temporary Healthcare Service License
• EPIC EMR experience
• Minimum of 2 years OR nursing experience with vascular and orthopedic procedures
• Ability to work days on a set schedule and adhere to hospital protocols

• Experience with circulating and scrub roles in surgery
• Familiarity with pediatric and adult patient care

About the Assignment Join a dedicated team at a leading healthcare facility offering a wide range of surgical procedures in 14 operating rooms, including Labor & Delivery for C-sections. You will be vital in delivering exceptional surgical care in a fast-paced environment, primarily circulating with opportunities for scrub assistance. The facility provides care across nearly all specialties, excluding cardiac and ophthalmology, with an average of 50 procedures daily.
