Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced RN with Cerner EMR proficiency to support emergency department operations. This role involves providing clinical care in a fast-paced ER environment, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Deliver high-quality nursing care to Emergency Department patients, adhering to clinical protocols and standards.
  
  
• 
  Utilize Cerner EMR to accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and interventions.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care plans and discharge instructions.
  
  
• 
  Respond swiftly to emergency situations, demonstrating exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  
  
• 
  Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to maintain a safe environment.
  
  
• 
  Participate in ongoing training modules and complete annual competency requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid RN license in Tennessee or a compact state, with active certification required.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience, with Cerner EMR familiarity.
  
  
• 
  Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours) with flexibility for on-call and floating within scope.
  
  
• 
  Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to perform under pressure.
  
  
• 
  CEN preferred but not mandatory.
