About the Position

Opportunity:

OT - Rehab Therapy

Job Details:

• 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required
• Hospital and inpatient rehab experience preferred
• Work Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• 44-bed rehab unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Unit staffing includes 10 OT/PT teams, 3 speech therapists, and 1 tech
• Perform manual therapy for neuro re-education, therapeutic exercise, functional activity, neuromuscular re-education, self-care, and functional electrical stimulation
• Stroke evaluation and treatment experience required
• Utilize equipment including Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, Bioness, and Diego
• Document using Meditech Expanse system
• May float to acute hospital if rehab census is low
• Must follow AIDET communication standards and immediate service recovery practices
• Dress code: Black scrub bottoms and royal blue top preferred
