Business Banking Underwriter IIIThe Business Banking Underwriter III is responsible for underwriting Business Banking loans to determine credit worthiness and compliance with Bank lending policy.Duties & Responsibilities:Supports Business Banking production by maintaining an individual pipeline of work.Reviews all financial and credit application information to make sound credit decisions. Loans would typically include those with more complex credit structures and customer exposure up to $4MM.Utilizes single approval authority up to $3MM.Appropriately assess risk profile of borrower.Assist with training and mentoring new hires as well as providing support for the UWI & UW II job families as needed.Tasks as needed to support the line of business and job family.Performs other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree5+years' experience with business or commercial underwriting in a centralized lending environmentPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business related fieldProven track record to support high levels of loan volumeAbility to underwrite credit exposures in excess of $2.5MMPrevious authority to underwrite and decision credits without additional signersDemonstrates confidence, assertiveness, professionalism, and ability to interact with all levels within the organization in a professional mannerProficient use of Microsoft Office and other internet resourcesAbility to work independently on multiple tasks without compromising qualityExcellence in customer service, highly motivated, focused and goal orientedExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and demeanorStrong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-upExempt Status: YesApplications Accepted Through: 11/30/2026Workplace Type: OfficeCertain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
