Maintenance Tech

Maintenance TechnicianWe are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and perform a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facility. The Maintenance Tech is responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance to protect the assets of a Hotel and keeping the Hotel systems running smoothly; ensures a safe, quality experience that improves guest satisfaction. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work independently, with weekends.Responsibilities:Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, checking and replacing filters, and inspecting systems for proper operation.Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems as needed, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely manner.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory.Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar roleStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Proficiency with hand and power toolsKnowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systemsAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus.Perks:Competitive salaryPaid time offMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plan (US only), Employer RRSP match (Canada only)Professional development opportunitiesPositive and supportive work environment
