Duties and Responsibilities - Gallatin College Montana State University seeks part-time (NTT) instructors to teach one or more of the following courses: GibbsCAM, Machine Shop, CNC Turning, CNC Milling, Tooling for CNC, CNC Lathe Operation, CNC Milling Programmer

Required Qualifications Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills - Demonstrated industry experience as a CNC Lathe Operation and/or Programming experience, including familiarity with Haas Controls. Demonstrated experience working with and engaging students and colleagues within and outside the department

Preferred Qualifications Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills - Three to five years industry experience with CNC Lathe Operation and Programming, with expertise on Haas Controls. Demonstrated commitment to student, faculty, and staff enrichment

The Successful Candidate Will - Work professionally and effectively with individuals and groups. Possess strong problem-solving ability. The Program - Students completing the Certificate of Applied ScienceCNC Machine Technology will acquire the skills necessary for entry-level jobs in CNC machining. Students will work to attain National Institute for Metalworking Skills credentials (NIMS), complete Haas V-F Series Milling Machine and GUI control setup, and gain knowledge and operations of Mastercam, Gibbs, and G-code.
