We’re looking for an experienced Senior Low Voltage Switchgear Technician to join a growing team delivering critical power and energy solutions for mission-critical environments, including data centers and industrial facilities.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled professional who thrives in high-performance environments, enjoys solving complex electrical challenges, and wants to play a key role in ensuring reliability, safety, and operational excellence.
- Support electrical commissioning projects across the Americas.
- Work with critical electrical systems, including low-voltage switchgear, Remote Power Panels (RPPs), and Power Distribution Units (PDUs).
- Support installation verification, equipment start-up, commissioning, and Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT).
- Collaborate with clients, commissioning agents, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to deliver successful projects.
- Troubleshoot electrical and control circuit issues, interpret wiring diagrams and ladder logic, and support industrial communication systems.
- Manage technical documentation, commissioning reports, punch lists, and project closeout activities.
- Help drive continuous improvement, enhance equipment performance, and promote safe working practices.
Requirements
- 2–3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent training in electrical systems, switchgear, or critical power environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, control circuits, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic.
- Hands-on experience with switchgear, RPPs, PDUs, and electrical commissioning.
- Understanding of electrical safety requirements, industry standards, and client specifications.
- Familiarity with Modbus TCP/RTU, Industrial Ethernet, and technical documentation tools such as Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- NFPA 70 and OSHA 10 certifications.
- Willingness to travel nationwide, with occasional international travel.
