Description:This position involves therapy PTA home health services.The role includes home visits and periodic office meetings.Candidates must have reliable transportation, a current driver’s license, and agency-required liability insurance.The average number of patients seen per day is 5 to 6.Each type of visit and activity holds a different point value for productivity.Contractors will be assigned between 5 to 10 patients per day, equating to roughly 6 to 8 points.Candidates must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from their home clinic.Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate.Travelers are compensated from patient home to patient home.The commute to and from the first and last patient is not billable.Weekend requirements may vary by location and profession.On-call duties will vary based on role and location.The consultant will be using HomeCare HomeBase and Oasis as EMR systems.The role does not require on-call obligations.Candidates are expected to accept every patient on their schedule regardless of distance.All documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment.There are no guaranteed hours with this contract.The clinician must achieve a minimum of 30 productivity points per week.If not receiving enough patients, there is an option to float to another nearby clinic to pick up additional patients.
