What You'll Do

• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care for pediatric and adult patients across multiple surgical specialties
• Support patients undergoing regional anesthesia, ECT, and various surgical procedures
• Float to pediatric PACU as needed, assisting with pre-op and recovery for all ages
• Care for patients in pre-op, Phase I, and Phase II recovery units within a busy surgical environment
• Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts, bladder scanners, and Accuvein during patient care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient patient recovery and optimal outcomes
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain compliance with hospital policies

What You Need

• Required:
  • Valid RN license in Louisiana or applicable state
  • ACLS, BCLS, and PALS certifications
  • Epic electronic medical records experience
  • Minimum of 1 year PACU or Pre/Post Op experience
• Preferred:
  • Pediatric PACU experience
