Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a general Ultrasonographer (Ultrasonographer General) for a short-term acute care facility located in Plainview, Texas. This position involves performing a variety of ultrasound examinations across multiple specializations including general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, obstetrics, breast imaging, transvaginal, vascular, and echocardiography. The role supports a multispecialty environment requiring proficiency in advanced ultrasound techniques, with orientation and scheduling aligned to the specified shift hours.

Job Details:

• Location: Plainview, Texas
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting from 09/08/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS, ARDMS or ARDMS Vascular Technology (VT) or CCI or RDC; at least 1 year of ultrasound experience, including general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, obstetrics, breast, transvaginal, vascular, and echocardiography; Texas state license (compact license must be in hand); ability to work 40 hours per week; necessary skills in ultrasound procedures listed in the requisites.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult echocardiograms, contrast-enhanced echocardiography, stress treadmill ultrasound, and proficiency with PACS and electronic charting systems.
• Additional Information:
  • Must be a full-bodied tech with experience in all required ultrasound specialties.
  • On-call availability from 5 PM to 8 AM Monday through Friday and 24 hours Saturday and Sunday.
  • Position may require floating between units and working on holidays; candidates must be flexible with scheduling requests submitted during the application process.
  • Candidate references covering one year within the last three years are required.
  • Must include responses to specific screening questions regarding prior employment at a designated facility, and experience with related procedures.
  • This role involves assisting with precepting clinicians and may include working with specialized ultrasound equipment and procedures as detailed above.
  • Candidate must provide confirmation of licensure and experience at submission.
