The Opportunity

EdgeClear is growing, and with that growth comes the need to expand our trade desk operations. We are looking for a Trade Desk Associate to serve as the primary point of contact between our clients and the clearing firms and platform providers that power their accounts. You will own client onboarding, platform configuration, day-to-day support, and trade desk coverage, including covering risk operations when needed.

This is a high-accountability, client-facing role with direct visibility to firm leadership. You will not be managing a queue in a call center. You will be building relationships with real traders and solving real problems at the intersection of technology, operations, and markets.

What You Will Do

• Onboard new clients end to end, from account setup through platform configuration and first trade readiness
• Configure and support professional futures trading platforms including Rithmic, CTS, CQG, Tradovate, Sierra Chart Teton, and others as needed
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and clearing firms, platform providers, and internal operations
• Provide responsive support via phone, email, and chat for platform issues, account questions, and trade desk inquiries
• Cover risk associate functions including monitoring positions, margin, and alerts during peak periods or absences
• Escalate issues appropriately and follow through to resolution without requiring client follow-up
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, platform configurations, and issue resolution
• Contribute to internal documentation for platform setup procedures and support workflows

What We Are Looking For

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a brokerage, trading firm, clearing firm, or financial services operations role
• Hands-on familiarity with one or more professional futures trading platforms (Rithmic, CTS T4, CQG, Tradovate, Sierra Chart, or equivalent)
• Genuine interest in futures markets and how they work, not just process familiarity
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to traders at any experience level
• High attention to detail and personal accountability in a fast-moving, market-hours environment
• Ability to stay composed and effective when multiple client issues surface simultaneously during live market hours

• You have worked at a futures broker, clearing firm, or prop trading firm in a support, operations, or client services capacity and are ready to take on more ownership
• You have experience at a trading platform provider or fintech company supporting professional traders and understand how platform configuration and connectivity actually work

• You have personal trading experience in futures or options and can speak to clients from a position of genuine market understanding

Location

This is a full-time, onsite-only role based at EdgeClear's Chicago office in River North. Candidates must be able to commute five days per week.
