Sourcing Specialist

Location : Juno Beach, FL (Onsite) Schedule : Standard Office Hours Duration : 12-Month Contract (W2) Pay Rate : $22.00 – $26.00/hr Position Summary Our client, a leading utility organisation, is seeking a detail-oriented Sourcing Specialist to support purchasing operations on a 12-month contract basis. The successful candidate will manage purchase orders, support system transition activities, and collaborate cross-functionally to maintain smooth procurement workflows. Responsibilities Create purchase orders (POs) accurately and in a timely manner. Manage and maintain existing POs, including updates, confirmations, and issue resolution. Support special projects including: identifying and resolving past due purchase orders; data cleanup and validation activities; and preparing the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) system for the transition to GEP. Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, planning, finance, and suppliers) to ensure smooth purchasing workflows. Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits and reporting. Assist with process improvements and standardisation efforts across the supply chain function. Education & Experience Experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or related operations. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables). Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail. Comfortable working with ERP, SRM, or procurement systems. Knowledge & Skills Experience with Power BI or other data visualisation tools. Familiarity with GEP or similar procurement platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
