RN Scheduler M-F 8-430p no weekends or on call South Shore

Education Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. (Required) Bachelor’s degree in nursing. (Preferred) Work Experience 2 years of relevant experience. (Required) Computer experience. Certifications Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice. (Required) Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association. (Required) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Proficiency in using computers, software, and web‑based applications. Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work a flexible work schedule (e.g., 24/7, weekend, holiday, on‑call availability). Job Duties Think critically, use good judgment, and appropriately use the nursing process when delivering care and scheduling patients. Accurately schedule, communicate with, and teach diverse groups and disciplines in a timely and effective manner using a variety of strategies. Communicate effectively, delegate, and manage nursing team resources, serving as a leader and partner on the interdisciplinary team. Use data, information, and knowledge to evaluate and promote change to achieve optimal outcomes. Embrace concepts and behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction and employee morale, and pursue professional development with clinical knowledge, technical skills, training, and credentials. Adapt behavior to the specific patient population, respecting privacy and communication style, and ensuring clear explanations of services or procedures. Perform other related duties as required. Physical and Environmental Demands Medium work: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, or 10 to 25 pounds frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects. Duties performed routinely require exposure to blood, body fluid, and tissue. Occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous medications or waste is present.
