Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (end times may vary based on procedures) | 30-Minute Lunch Break

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning of patient care in the operating room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other personnel to deliver patient care in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and facility policies
• Ensure availability of required supplies and maintain timeliness of surgical cases
• Communicate with patients' families and update physician preference cards as needed
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases
• Supervise personnel involved in the delivery of patient care within the surgical department

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with AORN standards and regulatory requirements in a surgical setting
• Experience scrubbing and circulating across a variety of surgical specialties
