Manufacturing Quality EngineerCompany is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to help ensure assembly, vehicle bring-up, and end-of-line (EOL) testing processes consistently meet the highest quality standards. In this role, you'll develop and implement in-line and end-of-line quality processes, drive root cause investigations for manufacturing issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing performance and product quality. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing and quality engineering, experience developing quality systems and process controls, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced production environment.As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, you'll:Develop and integrate quality and functional checks throughout the manufacturing processLead root cause investigations and corrective actions for assembly and manufacturing issuesDevelop, implement, and continuously improve end-of-line (EOL) testing processesCreate and maintain Process Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (PFMEAs)Develop and implement control plans and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) documentationAnalyze quality data to identify trends and improve assembly and testing processesPartner with cross-functional teams to resolve supplier quality, manufacturing, and design-related issuesContribute to the development and continuous improvement of quality policies, standards, and manufacturing processesDevelop procedures, work instructions, and documentation that support compliance with quality management standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001Bonus Qualifications: Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience Process Improvement certification (Lean Six Sigma / Shainin) CATIA V5/V6 experienceThe Manufacturing Process Quality Engineer will ensure that all processes that are conducted as part of the assembly, bring-up, and End-of-Line (EOL) testing of our vehicles will meet the high-quality standard of company. This includes the development and implementation of In-Line and End-of-Line quality checks as well as driving the root cause resolution of any issues that occur during the manufacturing process. As part of a daily routine, the Manufacturing Process Quality Engineer will interact with many different parties including Corporate Quality, Vehicle Engineering, Supplier Quality, and SoftwareResponsibilities: Development and integration of quality and functional checks into the manufacturing process Conduct root-cause analysis for any assembly-related issues Development, implementation, and optimization of the End-of-Line process Creating and maintaining of PFMEAs Development and Implementation of control plans Analysis of quality data to improve the assembly and test process Work cross-functionally to help resolve supplier quality or design-related issues that occurred during the manufacturing process Contribute to the definition and improvement of company Quality Policy and Manual. Create the procedures, instructions, and processes that will allow company to align with the international standards for Quality Systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9000, and similar).
