About This Role The Ambulatory Care Nurse (FGP) - Manhattan, Neurology-Move Disor will support the coordination, integration, communication, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice and clinical policies and procedures. This role is ideal for a dedicated nurse who is passionate about providing comprehensive care and improving patient outcomes. Highlights Pay: $117,977.99 - $128,905.59 Annually Location: New York, NY Facility: NYU Grossman School of Medicine Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift What You'll Do Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests Collect patient health history Record information in electronic health record Provide information, counsel, and education to patients and families regarding test results and treatment plans Administer medications, provide comprehensive wound care, and perform patient triage Assess and monitor patient responses to treatments and procedures Consult with clinical supervisors and licensed providers to determine treatment plans Direct, supervise, and delegate to licensed practical nurses and medical assistants Participate in quality and performance improvement activities Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote collegial relationships Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Associate Degree in Nursing may be approved contingent upon approval from Nursing Leadership Experience: Minimum of two years nursing experience in applicable area Licenses & Certifications: Current Registered Professional Nurse License in New York; Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association; ACLS certification preferred.
