Job Summary:


Underthe supervision of the Aquatics Manager, the Head Lifeguard is responsible forsupervising and participating in the safety of the daily operations of theWoodland Aquatic Center. The Head Lifeguard in coordination of the AssistantAquatic Manager will provide leadership to the aquatic staff and front deskstaff as needed. May work a varying work schedule to include early mornings,evenings, weekend shifts and holidays.

Qualifications/Education Requirements:

1. Mustbe at least 18 years of age.

2. Previousexperience of lifeguarding, pool maintenance and swim instruction or anycombination of the above.

3. Possessionof current certifications: American Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid and CPR forthe Professional Rescuer.

4. Minimumof 1 year of experience managing a pool with at least 6 months of supervisoryexperience.

5. AFO/ CPO preferred or able to obtain within 6 months of hire.

6. WaterSafety Instructor preferred or able to obtain within 6 months of hire.

7. LifeguardInstructor preferred or able to obtain within 6 months of hire.
