Position Title: Professional Aircraft Detailer
Location: Monterey CA
Job Type: Part-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Aircraft Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning, detailing, polishing, and maintaining the appearance of aircraft interiors and exteriors while adhering to aviation industry standards and company procedures.

This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior aircraft detailing on private, corporate, and charter aircraft.
• Clean and sanitize cabins, cockpits, lavatories, galleys, and baggage compartments.
• Wash, wax, polish, and buff aircraft surfaces using approved products and techniques.
• Remove stains, oxidation, grease, and contaminants from aircraft surfaces.
• Clean windows, carpets, leather, upholstery, and other interior materials.
• Apply protective coatings and detailing treatments as required.
• Inspect aircraft surfaces for cosmetic discrepancies and report findings to management.
• Maintain detailing equipment, supplies, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Follow all FAA regulations, airport rules, company policies, and safety procedures.

Qualifications Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Driver License
• Ability to pass background check
• Ability to pass drug test
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders, platforms, and aircraft stands.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Preferred

• Previous aircraft detailing experience.
• Experience with paint correction, polishing, ceramic coatings, or aircraft appearance maintenance.
• Knowledge of aviation cleaning products and procedures.
• Experience working around corporate, private, or charter aircraft.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely use detailing equipment, buffers, pressure washers, and cleaning chemicals.
