AI Developer / Automated Test Engineer

FedTec is seeking an experienced AI Developer / Automated Test Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and implementation of AI-powered applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI frameworks, and automated testing, with the ability to work across both AI development and software quality engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI/ML and Generative AI applications using Python.
• Develop solutions using LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and AI agents.
• Work with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar AI frameworks.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and document repositories.
• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts and help transition successful solutions into production.
• Design and implement automated test frameworks for AI-powered and traditional applications.
• Develop automated functional, regression, API, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Develop test strategies for AI/LLM applications, including response accuracy, relevance, consistency, hallucination, and performance testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with developers and business users to resolve them.
• Develop test data and automated test scripts using Python and appropriate testing frameworks.
• Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, and deployment activities.
• Document AI solutions, testing processes, technical designs, and user guides.
• Stay current with emerging Generative AI and automated testing technologies and recommend appropriate tools and approaches.

Required Skills

• Strong Python development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLM-based applications.
• Experience with OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar LLM platforms.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.
• Understanding of RAG architecture, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, and AI agents.
• Strong experience with automated software testing.
• Experience with tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, REST API testing, or equivalent.
• Experience testing REST APIs and enterprise applications.
• Experience with Jira, SharePoint, Jenkins, SVN.
• Strong SQL and database knowledge.
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
