Our client is seeking compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to provide direct treatment and ABA therapy. LOCATIONS & HOURS * Centers Based opportunities are located in Philadelphia, PA. * School Based Hours (8:00 AM to 3:00 PM) SUMMARY OF DESCRIPTION * Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) - Worked under the direct supervision of a licensed or certified Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) professional. * Implement Applied Behavior Analysis * Provide 1:1 intervention in facility setting with children and adolescents with severe emotional challenges * Provide behavioral intervention and crisis management for children and adolescents with mental health diagnoses * Collaborate with treatment team to provide input and feedback that contributes to the development of a child's treatment plan * Monitor child's behaviors by documenting and redirecting challenging behaviors Under the supervision of a BCBA clinician, the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for working 1:1 with clients and implementing specific treatment plans designed to address the clients' needs for behavioral management, daily living, social, and community skills. With training, the Technician will perform appropriate physical management to ensure client's safety. Recognizing the client's worth, affirming their abilities, and striving to promote self-esteem and independence, the Technician will maintain the client's safety as well as their physical and emotional health.
