Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Project Coordinator to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support project managers in planning, scheduling, budgeting and executing electrical construction projects across various phases. As an integral part of our team, you will help ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget by coordinating resources, tracking progress, and maintaining clear communication across customers, vendors, inspectors as well as with management. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will drive project success and contribute to the company and to our customers.

The Company will provide additional training with the applicant meeting the basic job requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of electrical projects from planning to implementation.
• Allocate resources for assigned projects.
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
• Negotiate with customers to receive reasonable order costs.
• Ensure deadlines and cost targets are met.
• Maintain required project documentation and updates.
• Correlate field staff time with projects.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
• Perform tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• 5 years electrical experience.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Willing to learn estimating software i.e. Blue Beam
• Strong analysis and critical thinking skills. A forward thinker.
• Deadline and detail oriented.
• Must have a valid and insurable driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.

Hourly Rate: $24 - $25
