Job Overview A law firm seeks a Banking and Financial Services Associate in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in structured finance transactions and securitizations. Responsibilities Represent financial institutions, asset managers, and issuers in structured finance transactions and securitizations. Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents for asset‑backed securities issuances and other structured finance arrangements. Prepare, negotiate, review, and analyze transactional legal opinions. Support the team throughout all phases of complex structured finance transactions. Requirements Experience with CLO transactions and related special purpose entity matters. Strong collaborative skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced transactional practice. Detail‑oriented and organized with a strong work ethic. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in home jurisdiction or eligible for admission. Skills Experience in structured finance and securitizations.
