Senior Product Manager

Role Description

Our client is seeking a Product Manager with a B2B SaaS background to help advance Payments' multi-vertical platform strategy. The role partners across product, design, engineering, marketing, sales, client success, and executive leadership to identify opportunities, shape solutions, and drive measurable business results.

• Lead cross-functional teams across support, implementation, sales, marketing, product, engineering, product operations, business operations, and design to build processes and coordinate successful rollouts of Payments across platforms.
• Build relationships with storage operators to understand customer needs and identify ways payments products can save time and improve profitability.
• Review customer behavior metrics and comparable product experiences to validate product direction and inform decision-making.
• Conduct market research and stay current on the payments industry to identify new products and potential revenue opportunities.
• Partner with product operations to support smooth rollouts with strong organizational transparency.
• Communicate the reasoning behind product improvements, expected learnings, strategic fit, and ongoing progress across the company.
• Provide regular updates on milestones, progress, and outcomes.
• Work closely with a product owner to identify opportunities and maintain a roadmap that balances customer and business value.
• Measure and broadly communicate the impact of strategic initiatives and delivered work.

Qualifications

• Product management experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Card payment processing experience is required; ACH and alternative payment methods experience is preferred.
• Experience managing third-party vendors and holding them accountable to objectives.
• Strong cross-functional organizational skills to manage dependencies, reduce risk, and keep projects on track.
• Analytical ability to predict, measure, and communicate the financial impact of changes.
• Skill in navigating difficult conversations and building consensus that supports both company and customer outcomes.
• Strong communication skills to present the need for and value of a business case to different audiences.
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving ability.
• Comfort with both user empathy and design, as well as analytics, statistics, and structured hypothesis-driven product work.
• Experience working in a nimble delivery environment where product, design, and engineering collaborate closely.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies, including writing detailed and actionable user stories.
• Ability to manage projects independently.
