Treatment Specialist

We’re looking for an independent, emotionally mature individual with in-depth knowledge of, passion for, and experience in the beauty, wellbeing, and/or healthcare industries. As the front-facing service providers of our studios, our Specialists foster and inspire the Ricari culture, sharing their knowledge and expertise to create memorable experiences that stay with our clients for life. Title: Specialist Reports to: Studio Manager Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules available. Shift length varies by studio volume and treatment demand. Weekend and holiday availability required, with additional weekday availability based on business needs. Compensation Specialists earn hourly pay plus service commission and gratuity. Base hourly compensation is $17-$22 depending on experience and licensure, with total earnings meaningfully above base for established Specialists. Key Responsibilities Deliver all Ricari treatments in accordance with brand protocols and clinical standards. Tailor every treatment to the individual needs and goals of each client. Complete client intake, screen for contraindications, and maintain accurate treatment records for continuity of care. Build genuine relationships with clients through professionalism, empathy, and attentive care. Educate clients on treatment benefits, aftercare, and appropriate treatment plans. Guide clients toward continued care through follow ups, treatment planning, rebooking, and retail recommendations. Maintain working knowledge of the full Ricari offering, including all treatments, retail, and compression bodywear. Prepare and maintain treatment spaces to Ricari hygiene and presentation standards. Begin and conclude every treatment on schedule. Communicate studio management on scheduling, client notes, and inventory needs. Maintain absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding client identity, information, and presence in the studio. Participate in ongoing brand training and protocol certification. Support studio events, activations, and partner collaborations, including occasional offsite engagements. Qualifications Current New York State Massage Therapy or Esthetics License required. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in massage therapy, esthetics, or a related therapeutic practice. Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered. Experience in a luxury spa, wellness, esthetics, or hospitality environment strongly preferred. Strong understanding of anatomy, bodywork, skincare, or related therapeutic practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Discretion and sound judgment when working with high-profile clients. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Additional language fluency a plus. This role involves standing and sustained hands-on work across consecutive treatments, along with lifting and moving treatment equipment and supplies.
