THERAPIST (LICENSED) PRN

Responsibilities Conduct therapeutic services for patients in the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs, including Telehealth counseling. Provide group counseling sessions. Conduct assessments of newly admitted patients and develop detailed re‑assessments and treatment objectives. Serve as primary contact and advocate for patients and families, coordinating with the treatment team and outside agencies for discharge planning and community support. Position Summary The IOP/PHP Treatment Coordinator is responsible for interviewing patients and families, developing comprehensive psychological histories, assessing therapeutic needs, and setting treatment objectives and summaries. As the primary liaison, the coordinator facilitates communication among the care team, families, and community-based agencies. Provide support, advocacy, and coordination with community-based social and mental health agencies regarding the patients’ pre‑admission status. Qualifications Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Investigation. Master’s degree in social work, mental health counseling, or related field. Current Florida license (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC) required. At least one year of direct clinical experience in family, individual, and group therapy with patients having psychiatric diagnoses, including specialized issues such as abuse, sexual offending, substance abuse, sexual trauma, vocational, play therapy, art therapy, and relaxation therapy. Orientation & Scheduling Must be available to attend full hospital and departmental orientations during Week 1: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM. Preference for individuals who can work weekend shifts.
