The Account Manager (AM) focuses on identifying and developing new product opportunities within the existing customer base. This role involves prospecting, presenting programs, and meeting sales quotas.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Penetrate the current customer base and generate revenue through additional category adds – Uniforms, Workplace Supplies, Managed Restroom Services, First Aid and Direct Sales.
• Secure contract renewals.
• Document customer information, maintain sales reports, and communicate product details to the service department.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive sales and identify new opportunities.
• Drive a systematic sampling program that leads to proposal generation.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Operations teams to sell into the current customer base.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Customer oriented and able to communicate effectively.
• Ability to provide a high quality service within a fast-paced and physically challenging environment.
• Goal driven and self-motivated to include problem solving skills.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications (including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet/Intranet).

Experience/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's/Associates Degree preferred.
• Prior experience in Route Sales and/or Business to Business (B2B) sales preferred.

License Requirements/Certifications:

• Valid Driver's License required.

Working Environment/Safety Requirements/Physical Requirements:

Safely lift and carry up to 30 lbs consistently.
