Base Pay: $16–$18 per hour, based on experience

Guaranteed Total Compensation: $36–$38 per hour, including a $20/hour tip earnings guarantee

We are looking for an experienced, service-driven Floor Lead who thrives on the floor, takes pride in exceptional hospitality, and inspires others through their actions.

This hands-on leadership role is ideal for an experienced Lead Server or hospitality professional ready to take the next step in their career while staying actively involved in guest service.

• Lead by example, actively serving tables and delivering personalized, attentive hospitality.

• Support daily front-of-house service and help maintain Kappo Tsan's elevated dining standards.

• Guide and mentor fellow team members through positive communication and teamwork.

• Provide guests with knowledgeable recommendations on menu offerings, Japanese cuisine, and beverage pairings.

• Coordinate table service, reservations, and guest flow to ensure a seamless dining experience.

• Collaborate closely with the culinary team to maintain service timing and consistency.

• Assist with opening and closing procedures and overall dining room readiness.

• Address guest requests and concerns professionally, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued.

• Previous experience in Asian-cuisine restaurants is required, preferably Japanese.

• Strong background in upscale dining, fine dining, or high-volume full-service hospitality.

• Previous experience as a Lead Server, Captain, or Floor Lead is preferred.

• Exceptional table service skills and a genuine passion for engaging with guests.

• Knowledge of Japanese cuisine, sake, and wine is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to support and mentor teammates while remaining actively involved in service.

• Professional presentation, reliability, and a team-first attitude.

• Competitive base pay: $16–$18 per hour, based on experience.
