About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Development Officer (CDO) to lead its philanthropic efforts. The CDO will be responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive fundraising plan, with a focus on major donors, institutional and corporate gifts. This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in fundraising, who can also provide strategic leadership to a talented team. Key responsibilities for the CDO include creating and implementing strategies to increase capital and program revenue, as well as leading the team in the execution of these plans. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader, capable of inspiring and supporting their team, and will have experience in creating best-in-class systems for fundraising. The role is pivotal in the Foundation's current and future capital campaigns, and the CDO will be instrumental in the preparation and execution of these initiatives. The position demands a professional who is not only a skilled fundraiser but also a strategic thinker, with the ability to interact with the Board of Directors and make significant contributions to the organization's decision-making processes.
