Landmark Hospitals are committed to providing the highest level of customer service and quality of care to those we serve.Shift: PRNSummary: The Occupational Therapist is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, treatment and documentation of occupational therapy for patients.Responsibilities:Reviews medical history, creates treatment plans and goals, shows patients how to use adaptive technologyAssists patients with disabilities, injuries or illnesses to recover and cope through the use of common, everyday tasks, demonstrates exercises to relieve pain and increase mobilityKnowledge of specific conditions, diseases, and treatment therapies for specific patient populationsAssesses patients' physical, psychological, social, and educational needs to determine level and type of careDevelops and maintains current patient treatment plan to include patient problems, goals, and interventionsDelivers care based on acuity level, identified needs, and physician ordersAssesses, collaborates, and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs and readiness for dischargeAssesses patient/family learning needs, abilities and readiness to learn and integrates needs into plan of careRequirements:Bachelor's degree or post Graduate degree (OT)Active and unrestricted Georgia OT License (Occupational Therapist)BLS CertificationMinimum 1 year hospital experience, critical care/acute care preferred.About us:Landmark Hospitals is a privately owned, critical care hospital system with locations across the Southeastern United States.
