Registered Nurse - Pre-Operative (RN)
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Pre-Operative Unit. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in preparing patients for surgical procedures while ensuring their safety and comfort.
Varied shifts from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments of patients.
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.
Monitor vital signs and prepare patients for surgery.
Administer medications and provide education to patients and their families.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices in patient care.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a pre-operative nursing role.
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH certifications required.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Candidates must be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve) each year.
