Occupational Therapist

Previous experience working with middle and high school students is highly preferred. Solid understanding of school-based occupational therapy practices. Demonstrated ability to conduct assessments, develop and track IEP goals, and deliver direct therapy services. Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and staff. Ability to maintain organized and accurate documentation. Primary Responsibilities: Perform evaluations to identify student needs and develop therapeutic plans tailored to individual goals. Work collaboratively with educational teams to create and support IEP goals specific to occupational therapy. Provide direct therapy services focused on enhancing student participation, independence, and functional skills in the school environment. Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as needed to maximize student outcomes. Consult and communicate regularly with teachers and families to support continuity of care. Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations related to school-based therapy services.
