POSITION SUMMARY:

In this role, you will employ the nursing process to deliver exceptional direct and indirect patient-centered care. You will coordinate patient care by collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. It is essential to communicate the patient's clinical status appropriately, responding swiftly and accurately to any changes in their condition or treatment response. You will demonstrate an understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan, ensuring age-appropriate care for the patient population. Additionally, you will advocate for the nursing profession and engage in professional practice through supportive interactions with colleagues. This position reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program and hold a current nursing license in the State of Connecticut.

• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support is required upon hire or must be obtained during the introductory orientation period, with ongoing clinical competency maintained throughout employment in this role.

COMPETENCIES:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.

• Basic computer proficiency is required.
