CDL-A Truck Driver | No-touch automotive freight Pay: $1,300 to $1,550 per week | Home Time: 7-10 days out Hiring Area: Richmond, VA Regional automotive freight network 90% drop-and-hook freight 2,500-3,000 miles per week Monthly safety bonus up to $750 Consistent route coverage and regional freight movement help keep drivers active throughout the week while operating within established freight lanes. With automotive freight, a high percentage of drop-and-hook loads, and miles available across the network, drivers spend more time moving and less time waiting. Freight, Routes & Miles 100% no-touch automotive freight Approximately 90% drop-and-hook freight Average length of haul around 500 miles Drivers typically run 2,500-3,000 miles per week Drivers primarily operate east of I-35 while hauling automotive freight through established lanes and customer locations. Pay & Home Time Drivers earn $1,300 to $1,550 per week, with an additional monthly safety bonus of up to $750. Drivers typically stay out 7-10 days followed by a 34-48 hour reset at home. We work with drivers whenever possible when home time needs arise. Equipment & Orientation Our fleet consists primarily of Peterbilt 579 trucks along with other well-maintained equipment. Trucks are equipped with inverters and refrigerators to help drivers stay comfortable on the road. Drivers may take assigned equipment home during home time. Orientation is completed online, and DOT physicals are scheduled close to home whenever possible. Transportation to pick up your truck is provided after onboarding. Drivers are paid on loaded and empty miles and receive detention pay, layover pay, and access to 24-hour dispatch support. Qualifications Valid CDL-A required along with a current DOT medical card. Drivers must have at least 3 months of experience within the last 12 months or 1 year within the last 3 years operating a tractor with a 40-foot or longer trailer.
