Requirement The contractor shall provide planning, developing architectures, designing, building, operating and maintaining essential Client infrastructure systems, providing system engineering services and customer support. The contractor shall provide expert technical guidance on utilizing Oracle software. Candidate must hold a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification. This effort has historically required 1980 labor hours per year to perform the appropriate level of service needed. The Oracle software utilized by Client includes database and web application software, monitoring tools, and code repository. The system engineer will provide specialized assistance in dealing with both software and hardware problems. System Engineer must understand the functionality of the systems, as well as installation/deployment, hardware, and routine maintenance functions. The system engineer must have technical understanding of the hardware and Oracle operating environments as well as other distributed base platforms where finance and accounting systems are in use. The engineer will have advanced technical knowledge of Oracle STIGs as well as engineering Oracle solutions environment and possess intimate knowledge with designing and troubleshooting. System Engineer shall have understanding of Oracle solutions on an Oracle SuperCluster and Solaris UNIX, LINUX environments. To support the scope of Client Infrastructure and Production Support Directorate, the contractor shall complete the tasks (outlined in Section 3) of this PWS as follows:


Task 1: Provide guidance to install and manage Oracle Software within Client environment


Task 2: Software patches and upgrades within Client environment


Task 3: Create and management of database schemas within Client environment


Task 4: Manage database storage within Client environment.


Task 5: Provide UNIX and SQL scripts and integrity of these scripts.


Task 6: Optimization and Performance within Client environment.


Task 7: Assist with Database Administration within a Client environment


Task 8: Training classes (related to Infrastructure Production Support)


Task 9: Consult on Technical and Management issues (database, operating systems, analysis and design methodologies, etc.) within a Client environment


Task 10: Provide documentation relating to change management solutions, system updates, recommendations


Task 11: Consulting and Technical services to team customers


Task 12: Review of technical architecture documents


Task 13: Provide database administration Performance Tuning Support
