Career Opportunities: Setup Operator (9124) Requisition ID 9124 -Posted 08/26/2026 - 3USAN-PNA-1-36 Line 36-1 - Operations (OP) - Gastonia - Allen Plant - Job Country (1) Assisting in the setup, adjustment and operation of machinery to produce goods or parts according to specifications Supporting the acquisition of operation plans and carrying out the processing of manufacturing batches of bulk materials/ingredients, including mechanical processing as required Performing cleaning, servicing and routine maintenance on machines to ensure they remain in good working order Supporting the monitoring of machines during operation to ensure they are functioning properly and carrying out repairs as needed Identifying problems (causes) that occur with machines and supporting the optimization of processes for troubleshooting Administering operational processes and keeping accurate records of machine performance Basic Function: Set-up and assist in maintaining all equipment according to engineering specifications and appropriate work instructions. Essential Functions:

1. Operate and maintain equipment according to requirements.
2. Interpret and apply specifications such as drawings, routings, etc.
3. Maintain appropriate records such as PM logs, etc.
4. Operate equipment/process to determine 1st. piece conformance.
5. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area.
6. Operate all equipment in accordance with safety requirements.
7. Assists Lead-person with production parts acquisition.

Additional Functions: Perform additional duties as assigned. Responsibility and Authority as Related to Quality:

1. Ensure that quality standards are met. STOP, CALL, WAIT Protocol.
2. Stop processes if quality or safety standards are not met.
3. Identify/record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system.
4. Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
5. Control further processing, delivery, or installation of non-conforming product until deficiency or unsatisfactory condition is corrected.

Education, Experience, and Physical Requirements:

1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Demonstrate ability to perform essential functions.
3. Must be able to physically lift and maneuver weights in excess of fifty pounds.
4. Must be able to work under physical situations that include (standing, moving, climbing, lifting, kneeling, crouching, reaching, grasping)
5. Have basic knowledge of machine functions and required set-up responsibilities.
