Warehouse Worker - Order Selector - 2nd Shift

Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment. Work Schedule Sunday to Wednesday 3:00 PM until all work is complete. Compensation $21.50 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential, totaling $22.50 per hour. Benefits

Paid Time Off Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance 401(k) plan Associate Referral Program Numerous associate discounts and growth opportunities Job Responsibilities Accurately stage and sort products for loading Loads and unloads trailers Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets Moves materials within the warehouse Packages or kits finished products for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling) Electronically scans products using a warehouse management system Attaches identifying tags to containers or marks them with identifying information Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards Prepares parcels for mailing Operates forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable) Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor Qualifications No prior warehouse experience required, but preferred High school diploma or equivalent preferred Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required Ability to work independently and demonstrate customer service, multi‑tasking, organizational, flexible, and time‑management skills Flexible to work overtime preferred Ability to work in non‑climate‑controlled conditions required Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job Willingness to work the required schedule in the specified location Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required Position is safety sensitive; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required Physical Requirements The physical and mental demands described here represent the requirements to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
