General Manager Join to apply for the General Manager role at McDonald’s. Key Responsibilities Leadership Motivate a group of people to achieve a common goal. Possess the combination of personality and leadership skills that inspires others. Set the tone for the restaurant and customer service environment. Role‑model values and behaviors consistent with Company culture. Sales, Guest Counts & Profitability Develop and execute local store marketing plans. Ensure systems and routines improve sales and transactions; hold the team accountable. Implement new products and procedures in‑restaurant. Execute national and co‑op promotions. Manage expenses and meet budgeted targets. Apply proper security and safety measures. Operations – Quality & Food Safety Maintain critical standards for product quality, service speed, cleanliness and sanitation. Manage planned maintenance of equipment. Service & Scheduling Accurately project, measure and control all P&L line items. Measure customer satisfaction and improve it. Effectively schedule to build the business across all day parts. Cleanliness & Security Maintain all physical plant aspects of the restaurant. Ensure all security procedures are executed. People Recruit, select, develop and retain crew, maintenance and management. Plan and conduct leadership team meetings. Present performance appraisals timely. Enforce policies, labor laws, and safety procedures. Model performance standards for all crew stations. Increase employee loyalty, satisfaction, and pride. Manage development and training of crew and shift managers. Take action to meet targets, monitor safety, security, and profitability. Communicate with the next manager to ease transition. Core duties include: food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance, managing team, quality food production, exceptional customer service, safety and security, scheduling, and training. Qualifications 3+ years of management experience in a fast‑food or restaurant setting.
