Mortgage Loan Originator - RTL & DSCR (Charlotte Metro)

Asteris Lending is seeking highly motivated Loan Originators to join our rapidly growing sales team. This is an opportunity to build your own book of business while working with one of the industry's fastest-growing private lenders serving professional real estate investors nationwide.

As a Loan Originator, you will play a key role in originating loans, developing long-term investor relationships, and helping clients grow their real estate portfolios. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in Business Purpose Lending (BPL), Residential Commercial Real Estate (Resi-CRE), NON-QM, DSCR, Fix & Flip, and New Construction lending who thrive in a performance-driven environment.

• 1099 Independent Contractor Position
• Uncapped Commission Structure

• Annual Performance Bonus Program
• On-Target Earnings (OTE): $150,000–$500,000+

What You'll Do

• Originate business-purpose loans for professional real estate investors nationwide.
• Structure financing solutions for:
• Fix & Flip
• New Construction
• DSCR Rental Loans
• Bridge Loans
• Build-to-Rent (BTR)
• Portfolio and Blanket Loans
• Build, manage, and grow your own nationwide pipeline of borrowers.
• Develop referral relationships with investors, brokers, builders, Realtors®, and other real estate professionals.
• Educate borrowers on financing strategies and loan products.
• Guide borrowers through the financing process from initial inquiry through closing.
• Partner closely with underwriting, processing, capital markets, and closing teams to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in:
• Business Purpose Lending (BPL)
• Non-QM Lending
• Residential Commercial Real Estate (Resi-CRE)
• Private or Hard Money Lending
• Investor-focused mortgage lending
• Existing network of real estate investors is preferred.
• Strong understanding of:
• DSCR underwriting
• Loan structures
• Residential investment strategies
• Construction and renovation financing
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Nationwide mortgage licensing (where applicable) is a plus.
