Job DetailsResponsibilities:Set up equipment and supplies in procedure rooms and scope room.Check supplies and equipment for work readiness, including scope for proper working order prior to procedures.Clean and test equipment according to manufacturer's recommendations and stores equipment appropriately.Monitor and maintain scope reprocessing equipment.Monitor scopes for repairs and communicates with repair company for shipping and maintenance of scopes.Restock rooms and storage closet daily.Maintain EndoVault with patient and procedure scheduling information.Discharge, transport and position patients as needed.Participate in caring for the safety needs of patients.Assist with and anticipates the needs of the physician during procedure.Responsible for specimen by obtaining, preparing, labeling and documenting specimens.Provide general maintenance of the clinical area.Maintain supply of linens.Utilize supplies, equipment and resources to contain costs without compromising patient care.Adhere to Infection Control Plan and environmental safety practices.Communicate a positive and caring attitude towards patients, peers, staff and visitors.Participate in continuing education programsParticipate in department specific training and education.Participate in risk management, quality assurance and quality improvement activities.Seek guidance and assistance where needed. Follows the Endoscopy Center policy and procedures at all times.Demonstrate flexibility in patient care, assignment, schedule and meeting the needs of the Endoscopy Center.Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Prefer graduate of accredited 1-year program for Surgical Technology, CNA I, orCNA IIBLS certified.Endoscopy experience preferredEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
