Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:30 | Every Other Weekend Rotation and Some Holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting, with the ability to float across multiple critical care units as needed
• Care for diverse patient populations including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, and IMC/Progressive/General care
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias
• Participate in every other weekend rotation and select holiday coverage
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-acuity inpatient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the applicable specialty
• Must pass a telemetry examination prior to start (adult and pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher with strict criteria for lethal rhythm identification)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple ICU subspecialties such as Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, or Trauma Surgery
• Familiarity with IMC, Progressive Care, or Step-Down patient populations
• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-acuity academic or teaching hospital environment
