Radiologic Technologist

This position is in a 60-bed facility. It is a Level 3 Trauma Center. The facility is located outside a mid-sized city. Covid vaccination is required. The imaging department has 2 diagnostic rooms and 1 fluoroscopy room. There is a 1:1 patient ratio. Patient types include inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and some pediatrics, mainly adults. Support on the unit includes transport staff during the day and radiologic technologists available 24/7. Hospitalists also provide support around the clock. The EMR system in use is EPIC. Medication dispensing is managed through a Pyxis system. Preferred experience includes working with PACS (McKesson). Portables are Canon, fluoroscopy equipment is GE, and C-arms are OEC. Diagnostic rooms are equipped with Dell systems and Canon plates. Floating may be required throughout the facility for portable imaging, including the operating room and emergency department. If a holiday falls on a scheduled shift, time off must be approved by management. Only one radiologic technologist and one CT technologist will be available after 10 PM. Scrub colors are flexible. Free parking is available for staff.
